Our Mission

“Our mission is to raise community awareness by helping to fund existing programs and treatments to support the ongoing research to ultimately cure cancer.”

There are few causes in our world more deserving and more urgent than the fight against cancer. Cancer does not discriminate: it affects adults and children, men and women, rich and poor alike. Sadly, every single one of us has been touched by cancer one way or another. We all have a family member or know a friend or colleague who has suffered from this painful disease. I am personally one of the millions of people who experienced first hand the terrible burden of cancer as I fought the disease in 2006.

On October 17, 2006 I was diagnosed with having a cancerous tumor of the parotid gland (the main salvary gland). After a successful surgery and 30 treatments of radiation, I was able to win this battle against cancer with the help of positive thoughts, prayer, and the access to the best treatments available.

Today my husband and I are proud to announce The Quintin Foundation. Our mission is to raise community awareness by helping to fund existing programs and treatments and support ongoing research to ultimately cure cancer. We will be hosting fundraisers and events throughout the year.

Most of the fundraisers held by The Quintin Foundation will benefit the Jefferson Cancer Network at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, a group of hospitals in the region dedicated to improving cancer care and clinical research. The Jefferson Cancer Network was established to provide patients access to the latest findings in cancer research, technology, and treatment.

Cancer does not have to mean the end. With your support it can be the beginning of a healthy, productive and happy life. Thank you in advance for your continued support and in helping making a difference.
